Harmony II – A family option

A good option for families with growing children is Harmony II. Developed by Lennar Design Studio Homes in North Las Vegas residents have been moving in since September last year. Even today immediate move-in is available according to the builders. The neighborhood is a gated community offering single family homes with features to suit families with small children. There are five two story plans that measure from approximately 1,500 square feet to 1,900 square feet. The homes that are still under construction can be built with many as four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and two-car garages. One dual-master bedroom floor plan is available and the prices start from the high $200,000s.

Keen to attract the right profile of residents, Lennar Homes offered several incentives to early buyers and movers. They created a complete package that includes all the essentials a new-home owner usually has to purchase separately and were usually an added but necessary expense. Certainly many of the features are high end products one would not expect in a new home unless commissioned. Amenities include granite counter tops, washers and dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, even 2-inch faux wood blind window coverings. Homes have laundry rooms and upgraded front-yard landscaping. Another incentive the builders offered buyers was an attractive saving of up to $10,000 in closing costs with use of their preferred lender. This certainly seems to be a win-win situation with savings and confidence on all sides.

There are certain variations in the plans which are also quite attractive and unique such as media niches in the living room and front porches. The traditional patio home has been taken to an entirely new level by the builders. Each residence has a private back yard. The community association maintains all the front and side yard landscaping, and all of the common areas are in place. All residences are Energy Star certified and come with two-car garages.

Apparently The Grand Symphony design is the most popular. Buyers are obviously impressed with the cathedral ceilings which is the first thing you see when you open the front door. They make the home seem much larger than it is. This is among the larger plans at over 1,750 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a loft or retreat. Also in demand is the largest on offer Harmony plan. The attraction here is probably the side-entry which immediately gives you that inviting, cozy feeling. The floor plan can be modified to build four bedrooms, or three bedrooms plus a master retreat, and 2 1/2 baths.

All homes have certain standard features that include ceramic tile flooring at the entrance, oak cabinetry with hidden hinges, gas ranges, dishwashers and track lighting. The bathrooms are thoughtfully designed to include oak cabinetry and grout-less tubs. Master suites in all models include walk-in closets, garden tubs, dual-sink vanities and enclosed toilets.

Residents can access a community pool. Harmony II homes are ideal for families of all sizes because the sense of community seems to be truly there among the residents who have moved in already.
